After a month or two of "hiatus", I am happy to be back on DA to show more new photos of the World around me.
About the set of new photos, "NDP 09": For the past five odd months or so, I have been heavily involved in what is considered to all Singaporeans "Our Nation's Big Birthday". For the benefit of those who aren't Singaporean, it is refering to my country's National Day. Indeed, the past few months which have built up to the 9th August (i.e. National Day) has has definitely been an exciting and unforgettable adventure! And although National Day has come and gone, the memories I have collected are priceless and are as fresh as if all of it just happened yesterday.
From what goes on behind the scenes to the actual showtime, performers to participants, each photo captures the energy and vibrancy of the parade and more importantly perhaps, how far Singapore and it's people have come as an independent nation for 44 years. Take a beautiful peek into a kaleidoscope of colour, atmosphere and nation spirit!
It is thus my joy and honour to share with you some of the visual experiences that I have gained since mid-July until National Day itself about the National Day Parade 2009 (NDP 09)! Enjoy...
